1931
The Beginnings
The history of Curtidos Lancina begins with Cayetano Lancina Domínguez and Josep Rosell i Marimon, who established a small tannery in the Rec neighborhood of Igualada.
1947
The Second Generation
Arrival of the second generation, with Antonio Lancina Torras, son of Cayetano Lancina, joining the family business.
1960
Expansion
After the death of his partner, Cayetano Lancina took over and expanded the company. He rented the Tres Pubills tannery and later added another brickyard to the operation.
1968
Development
The expansion continued with the leasing of a new factory, 'Cal Saboner', which was acquired the following year.
1986
Business Consolidation
Antonio Lancina made an important move when he acquired the "El Cilindre" estate. This estate is home to the current Lancina Tanning factory.
1993
Continuing the Family Legacy
The family tradition continues with Sara and Antonio Lancina i Rabasa, with Antonio being the current manager who keeps the Curtidos Lancina legacy alive.
MarketMarket Presence
Curtidos Lancina has its main focus on the domestic market, supplying leather to a wide range of industries in Spain.
However, our presence extends beyond national borders, as we also export to various locations around the world.
